- Uganda 5 Shillings Banknote, 1987, P-27, PMG 67
The Uganda 5 Shilling banknote was released by the Bank of Uganda in 1987. The banknote coms in brown and has dimensions of 127 x 62 mm. Its obverse depicts the national emblem, the outline map of Uganda, and the bank emblem. The banknotes reverse features a crested crane, a waterbuck, an elephant, and a hippopotamus. The paper bill was printed by Thomas De La Rue and bears a solid security thread. This Uganda 5 Shilling banknote was given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
