The Uganda 50,000 Shillings banknote was issued by the Bank of Uganda in 2021. The obverse side shows a profile of a man wearing a Karimojong headdress, the Stride monument of a family with CHOGM flag, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a green-to-blue SPARK feature, the coat of arms, and shields. The reverse side features shields, a profile of a man wearing a Karimojong headdress, the sun, a map, silverback mountain gorillas, and the National Independence monument in Kampala. This banknote contains a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized BOU L and contains a watermark with a crested crane and electrotype 50000 design. The gold banknote is 151 x 74 mm and is signed by Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile and Susan Kanyemibwa. This paper bill has a radar serial number and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
