Uganda 50,000 Shillings Banknote, 2021, P-54e, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Uganda 50,000 Shillings banknote is part of the 2021 issues of the Bank of Uganda. The obverse of this gold banknote features a profile of a man wearing a Karimojong headdress, a Stride monument of a family with CHOGM flag, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a green-to-blue SPARK feature, the coat of arms, and shields. The reverse features shields, a profile of a man wearing a Karimojong headdress, the sun, a map, silverback mountain gorillas, and the National Independence monument in Kampala. This banknote contains a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized BOU L and a watermark that reveals a crested crane and electrotype 50000 design. It measures 151 x 74 mm. It is also signed by Susan Kanyemibwa and Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
