This uncirculated 50 Ugandan shilling banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Bank of Uganda in 1979. It is a blue and purple banknote that bears the signature of Nkojo Gideon, and measures 142 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side shows the Bank of Uganda building in Kampala and the national coat of arms. Its reverse side depicts a view of the Owen Falls Dam and the Nalubaale Power Station in Jinja. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of a crested crane.
