This uncirculated 500 Ugandan shilling banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Bank of Uganda in 1983. It is a blue banknote that measures 152 mm x 85 mm and bear the signatures of Bank Governor Leo Kibirango and Deputy Governor John Robert Ochole Elangot. Its obverse side shows the national coat of arms and a portrait of President Milton Obote. Its reverse side depicts a herd of Watusi cattle and a man picking coffee beans.
