The Ukraine 1 Hryvnia banknote is part of the 2014 issues. This 30 pieces uncut banknote has yellow and blue colors, with each piece that measures 118 x 63 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms and the Grand Prince of Kyiv, Vladimir the Great. The reverse side features a bank logo, Vladimirs burg in Kyiv, with walled fortifications and churches, and an eagle, cross, mace, ax, and sword. This banknote uses a solid security thread with demetalized 1 ГРН and trident and contains a watermark with a Vladimir the Great and electrotype hryvnia symbol (backward S with two horizontal bars) design.
