Ukraine 20 Hryven Banknote, 2016, P-128, UNC, Commemorative

The Ukraine 20 Hryven Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Ukraine in 2016 to commemorate the 160th birthday of the Ukrainian writer, Ivan Franko. It has a color combination of green, blue, and brown and bears Ukrainian text. Its obverse features Ivan Franko, the coat of arms of Ukraine, and a 160 poKIB in SPARK. The reverse depicts the Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Lviv, a statue of a winged woman holding a fern, from the roof of the building. The note contains a RAPID windowed security thread, a solid security thread with demetallized 20 TPH, and a trident. It also has a watermark that reveals Ivan Franko and an electrotype 20. It is 130 x 69 mm in size and is signed by Valeria O. Gontareva. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
