The United Arab Emirates 5 Dirham banknote was introduced by the United Arab Emirates Central Bank in 2015. The banknote comes in brown and is 143 x 60 mm in size. Its obverse features the coat of arms of the UAE and the Blue Souk or the Central Market in Sharjah. Featured on the reverse of the paper bill is a saker falcon, a tower, and the Bay of Khorfakkan which is located in Fujairah. The notes security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized UAE 5. It also bears a watermark that reflects a saker falcons head. This UAE 5 Dirham banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
