The United Arab Emirates 50 Dirham banknote is part of the family of notes released by the United Arab Emirates Central Bank in 2008. The purple banknote features the new coat of arms and the head of an oryx with a silver foil stamp. On its reverse design is a saker falcon and the Fort Jahili at Al Ain. The banknote is 151 x 64 mm in size and bears a 3-mm wide color-changing windowed security thread with a demetalized UAE 50. The note also carries a watermark that reflects a saker falcons head with an electrotype 50 and a coffee pot. This UAE 50 Dirham banknote has been given a grade of 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
