The United Arab Emirates 50 Dirham banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the United Arab Emirates Central Bank in 2008. The front side of the purple banknote depicts the new national emblem and the head of an oryx with a silver foil stamp. The reverse of the banknote features a saker falcon and the Fort Jahili at Al Ain. The banknote measures 151 x 64 mm and carries a 3-mm wide windowed security thread that shifts colors when tilted and with a demetalized AUE 50. Additionally, the banknote bears a watermark reflecting a saker falcons head with an electrotype 50 and a coffee pot. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
