This red deluxe coin album is a coin collection issued by the Royal Mint. It contains proof versions of the circulating range of United Kingdom coins for 2005. Coins included in the set are eight standard circulation coins— 1 penny, two pence, five pence, ten pence, twenty pence, fifty pence, one pound, and two pounds— and four commemorative coins—50 pence coin commemorating the 40th anniversary of the 50p and the 250th anniversary of Johnson’s Dictionary, 1 pound commemorating the Menai Bridge, 5 pounds commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, and 5 pounds commemorating the 200th anniversary of the death of Admiral Horatio Nelson. The obverse of the coins features the 4th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The coin album also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Royal Mint.
