This banknote set comes with 9 pieces of Uruguay peso banknotes that were released by the Central Bank of Uruguay between 1989 and 1992. These banknotes are in denominations of 1,000 up to 50,000 pesos and are arranged by twos. Common on their obverse design are the country's coat of arms and a portrait of a famous Uruguayan figure from a national hero to a painter, to a composer and journalist. They also feature objects or landmarks relative to the person being featured. Their watermarks reflect the person on the note. These 159 x 74 mm paper bills have security thread varieties and are in uncirculated condition.
