This silver 1,000 Uruguayan peso coin commemorates the induction of Fray Bentos, the capital city of Rio Negro and the main brand of canned process meat produced in the first great industrial complex in South America, to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Its obverse side contains a can of Fray Bentos processed meat over Rio Negro with the World Heritage and UNESCO logos on either side. Its reverse side features the landscape of the Anglo canned meat factory. The coin weighs 12 g and has a diameter of 33 mm. It is in mint condition and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Central Bank of Uruguay.
