The Uruguay 10,000 Peso banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Uruguay in 1974 ND. The banknote has a color combination of orange, green, pink, and yellow. Featured on the obverse of the paper bill is the coat of arms of Uruguay and a portrait of national hero Jose Gervasio Artigas. On the reverse is the Estevez Palace in Plaza Independencia, Montevideo. The banknote is 155 x 69 mm in size and bears a solid security thread with printed URUGUAY and bears the signatures of William Rosso, Juan Cesar Pacchiotti, and Carlos Ricchi. It also has a watermark that reflects Jose Gervasio Artigas and 10,000 patterns. This Series C Uruguay 10,000 Peso banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
