The obverse side shows a denomination as a registration device, the coat of arms, laurels, buff-necked ibis (Theristicus caudatus) bird, and microscope, Daso Antonio Larraga, and the map of Uruguay in purple SPARK. The reverse side features the Biblioteca Nacional 26 de Mayo de 1816 (National Library 26 May 1816) and laurels, buff-necked ibis (Theristicus caudatus) bird, and microscope.
