The Uruguay 20,000 Nuevos Pesos Banknote was Issued by the Banco Central Del Uruguay in 1989. It has a color combination of green, purple, and red. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Uruguay and a portrait of Juan Zorrilla de San Martin. The reverse depicts the Alegoria de la Leyenda Patria (allegory of the Patriot Legend) consisting of a flying bare-breasted angel.
