The 200 Uzbekistani sum banknote is part of the second sum series issued in 1997. The second sum series was produced locally in Tashkent, and there were contradictions between the Cyrillic text and the Latin text used for the serial number prefixes. The obverse side depicts the state emblem of Uzbekistan. The reverse side features the tiger-lion hybrid and sun mosaic found in Sher-Dor Madrasah of the Registan in Samarkand. The security features of the note are a solid security thread with demetalized Uzbekistan in Cyrillic and a watermark of the coat of arms of Uzbekistan. The banknote has a dimension of 144 x 77 mm.
