Customer reviews

The 1997 200 Uzbekistani sum banknote is part of the second sum series, where the rate of one new sum equals 1,000 old soms. The second sum series was produced locally in Tashkent, and there were contradictions between the Cyrillic text and the Latin text used for the serial number prefixes. The obverse side depicts the state emblem of Uzbekistan. The reverse side features the tiger-lion hybrid and sun mosaic found in Sher-Dor Madrasah of the Registan in Samarkand. The security features of the note are a solid security thread with demetalized Uzbekistan in Cyrillic and a watermark of the state emblem. The notes dimensions are 144 mm by 77 mm.
