The Uzbekistan 5 Som replacement banknote was released by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Republic in 1994. This blue banknote measures 144 x 68 mm. The obverse side shows a cotton boll and flower pattern, a phoenix carrying a sheep, the coat of arms of Uzvbekistan, and an ornately carved stone column. The reverse side features trees and a monument in Alisher Navoi National Park in Tashkent. This banknote uses a solid security thread with demetalized name of the country in Uzbek text and contains a watermark with a coat of arms design. This replacement banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
