The Uzbekistan 5 Som Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Republic in 1994. On the obverse of this blue banknote are a cotton boll and flower pattern, a phoenix carrying a sheep, the Uzbek coat of arms, and a carved stone column. The reverse depicts the monument in Alisher Navoi National Park in Tashkent. The note contains a solid security thread with a demetallized Uzbek text. It also has a watermark that reflects the coat of arms of Uzbekistan. The note is 144 x 68 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This replacement/star note has also been graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
