The 100,000 Venezuelan bolivar fuerte banknote is a yellow paper note that measures 156 mm by 69 mm. The obverse side of the note is vertically oriented and features the revolutionary hero Simon Bolivar wearing a military uniform. The reverse side is horizontally oriented and features two Carduelis cucullata (black-hooded red siskin birds) perched on a branch in the Waraira Repano National Park. The note has a solid security thread, a 4-mm wide holographic security thread with BCV, a watermark of Bolivar, and an electrotype watermark of BCV.
