Venezuela 100,000 Bolivar Fuerte Banknote, 2017, P-100a, UNC, TAP Authenticated

The 100,000 Venezuelan Bolivar Fuerte note was issued in 2017 in response to hyperinflation. It bears the signature of Jose Salamat Khan and has a yellow color scheme. Its obverse side features the Liberator of Venezuela, Simon Bolivar. Its reverse side shows the National Bird Park (Parque Nacional El Avila), two black-hooded red siskin birds, and the Venezuelan coat of arms. Security features include a solid security thread, a 3-mm wide holographic windowed security thread with demetalized BCV 100, and a watermark that shows Simon Bolivar and an electrotype 100.
