The Venezuela 100 bolivar fuerte is a part of the family of notes issued in 2007-17 to revalue the old currency. This particular banknote is in used condition. Its obverse in vertical orientation features the former President Simon Bolivar wearing a military uniform. On the back of this note are two black-hooded red siskin birds known as Carduelis cucullata. The Waraira Repano National Park or the Parque Nacional El Avila as well as the Coat of Arms of Venezuela are visible. This 156 x 69 mm paper note has a solid security thread and a windowed security thread with a demetallized BCV 100. Furthermore, it has a portrait of Simon Bolivar and an electrotype 100 as its watermarks.
