Its vertically-oriented obverse side features El Libertador Simon Bolivar. Its reverse side shows the Venezuelan coat of arms, the Waraira Repano National Park (also known as the Parque Nacional El Avila), and two black-hooded red siskin birds (Carduelis cucullata). Security features include a solid security thread, a windowed security thread with demetalized BCV 100, and a watermark of Simon Bolivar with an electrotype 100.
