This 2,000 Venezuelan Bolivar Fuerte banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Venezuela. It is an extremely fine red and green banknote that is dated 18 August 2016, bear the signatures of Ramon Lobo and Sohail Hernandez, and measures 156 mm x 69 mm. Its obverse side is vertically oriented and features Cacique Guaicaipuro, a legendary Venezuelan chief of both the Teques and Caracas tribes. Its reverse side features the American harpy eagle (Harpia harpyja) in the Parque Nacional Canaima. Security features of the note include a windowed security thread with demetalized BCV and a watermark of Simon Bolivar and an electrotype BCV.
