The Venezuela 5 Bolivar Soberano Banknote that features Jose Felix Ribas was issued in 2018 with a dimension of 156 x 69 mm in length and width. The obverse side features a portrait of the Independence leader from a painting by Martin Tovar y Tovar. The reverse side features a Veragua stub foot toad, the Henri Pittier National Park in Aragua Valley, and the coat of arms of Venezuela. The banknote contains a Holographic windowed security thread with demetalized BCV to enhance its security features. An image of Simon Bolivar and electrotype BCV is also made visible under the UV light.
