The Venezuela 5 Bolivares Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Venezuela in 1989. The banknote comes in a combination of red, orange, and green. Its obverse features Simon Bolivar wearing a military uniform. It also shows Francisco de Miranda wearing a military uniform from the 1973 painting by Charles-Etienne. The reverse depicts the coat of arms of Venezuela and the Panteon Nacional (National Pantheon) in Caracas. The note does not contain a security thread and watermark. It is 156 x 69 mm in size and was printed by De La Rue. It is also signed by Jose Vicente Rodriguez Aznar and Pedro R. Tinoco. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition.
