This uncirculated 100 Vietnamese dong banknote is a commemorative banknote issued by the State Bank of Vietnam to commemorate the 65th anniversary of national banking in Vietnam. It is a red and orange banknote that is dated 2016 and measures 163 mm x 83 mm. Its obverse side features a portrait of former Prime Minister Ho Chi Minh, a 65 logo in gold SPARK, and the coat of arms of Vietnam. Its reverse side features the State Bank of Vietnam headquarters building in Hanoi, a mythical folk hero famously known as Saint Giong, and an exquisite pattern found on the Ngoc Lu bronze drum. Security features include a windowed Motion security thread and a watermark of a lotus flower with an electrotype 65.
