The Vietnam 20,000 Dong Banknote is part of the 2003 Polymer series that replaced the countrys cotton banknotes with plastic polymer. This particular banknote, released in 2012, is 136 x 65 mm in size and has blue, pink, and green colors. This TAP authenticated issue also has added security features, including a windowed security thread and fluorescent inks that shine under UV light. Former Vietnamese President and revolutionary Ho Chi Minh is featured on the banknotes front side, while the back shows a Japanese pagoda bridge over the Thu Bon river in Hoi An, Quang Nam province.
