The Vietnam 500,000 Dong banknote was issued by the State Bank of Vietnam in 2016. It comes in a combination of green, orange, purple, and blue. The obverse features the coat of arms of Vietnam and a portrait of Ho Chi Minh. The reverse of the paper bill displays Ho Chi Minh’s birthplace with trees in Kim Lien Village. The banknote does not contain a security thread, however, it has a shadow image watermark that reveals Ho Chi Minh. This polymer banknote is 152 x 65 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated.
