Reviews:

This 1,000 West African franc note was issued in Benin in 2002. It is a yellow, brown, orange, blue, and pink note that measures 150 mm x 80 mm, is dated 2002, and bears the signatures of Kossi Assimaidou and Charles Konan Banny. Its obverse side features seven men storing peanuts in sacks and a head of a woman with a headscarf. Its reverse side shows the penal code, a mask, thatched huts on stilts, linked carved figures of a seated man and a seated woman, and two women with wicker baskets. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of a young woman with a headscarf. It is also a superb gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average margins and registration. Thus, it is graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
