This uncirculated 1,000 West African franc note is a standard circulation note issued by the Central Bank of the West African States. It is a pink, orange, brown, and purple note that is dated 2019, bear the signatures of Tiemoko Meyliet Kone and Romuald Wadagni, and measures 125 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features a sawfish figurine, textbooks, a globe centered on the map of Africa, a chalk slate, a red cross, and the Bowl of Hygieia, a symbol of pharmacy. Its reverse side shows two camels (Camelus dromedarius), and a penal code. Security features include a denomination registration device, a 1-mm wide solid security thread with a printed UMOA 1000, and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 1000.
