The West African States - Mali 10,000 Francs Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of the West African States in 2019 for Mali. It has a color combination of purple, violet, blue, green, and orange. Its obverse side shows a sawfish figurine, a parabola (radio antenna), a large @ sign symbolizing the Internet age, printed circuits, and a communications satellite in orbit. Its reverse side depicts two yellow-billed turaco birds (Tauraco macrorhynchus) perched on a branch and the penal code. Security features include an 8-mm wide windowed holographic stripe with a sawfish, BCEAO, and 10000, a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed UMOA 10000, a denomination registration device, and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 10000. It is 145 mm x 74 mm in size and is signed by Tiemoko Meyliet Kone and Romuald Wadagni. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
