This uncirculated 10,000 West African CFA franc banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of the West African States for Mali. It is a purple, violet, blue, green, and orange banknote that is dated 2019, bears the signatures of Tiemoko Meyliet Kone and Romuald Wadagni, and measures 145 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows a sawfish figurine, a parabola (radio antenna), a large @ sign symbolizing the Internet age, printed circuits, and a communications satellite in orbit. Its reverse side depicts two yellow-billed turaco birds (Tauraco macrorhynchus) perched on a branch and the penal code. Security features include an 8-mm wide windowed holographic stripe with a sawfish, BCEAO, and 10000, a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed UMOA 10000, a denomination registration device, and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 10000.
