This uncirculated 500 West African franc note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of West Africa for Mali. It is a brown and orange note that is dated 2022, bear the signatures of Tiemoko Meyliet Kone and Sani Yaya, and measures 114 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side features a sawfish-shaped brass weight used by the Ashanti people for weighing gold, a hand touching a tablet, and an outline map of Africa. Its reverse side shows two hippos. Security features include a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed UMOA 500 and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 500.
