This uncirculated 5,000 West African CFA franc banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of the West African States for Senegal. It is a green, blue, yellow, brown, and orange banknote that is dated 2019, bears the signatures of Tiemoko Meyliet Kone and Romuald Wadagni, and measures 141 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side shows a sawfish figurine, banana trees, and an aerial view of irrigated rice fields. Its reverse side depicts two Buffon’s Kob antelope (Kobus Kob Kob). Security features include a denomination registration device, an 8-mm wide windowed holographic stripe with a sawfish, BCEAO, and 5000, a 1-mm wide solid security thread with printed UMOA 5000, and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 5000.
