This uncirculated 500 West African CFA franc banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of the West African States for Togo. It is an orange, brown, and green note that is dated 2015, bears the signatures of Gilles Baillet and Tiemoko Meyliet Kone, and measures 114 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side shows a sawfish figurine, the map of Africa, electronic circuits, and a hand touching a screen on a tablet. Its reverse side depicts two hippopotamuses (Hippopotamus amphibius) standing in a field and the penal code. Security features include a 1-mm wide solid security thread with a printed UMOA 500, a denomination registration device, and a watermark of a sawfish with an electrotype 500.
