The Westerburg 10-50 pfennig banknote set comes with 5 pieces of notgeld banknotes in 10, 25, and 50 pfennig denominations. These banknotes were issued in 1920 by the City of Westerburg which is a Prussian province of Hesse-Nassau. The local banknotes are in different sizes and colors. Their obverse design bears the denomination while the reverse features a castle or a building and the coat of arms of Westerburg except that of the 10-pfennig that only reflects the city emblem. These emergency paper bills are in uncirculated condition.
