This two-piece coin set from Yugoslavia contains the two commemorative coins that celebrate the 200th anniversary of Vuk Karadzic, the Father of Serbian folk-literature scholarship and author of the first modern Serbian dictionary. These coins are made of silver, show the denomination and the coat of arms on one side, and portray a stylized profile of Karadzic on the other side. The 3,000 dinar coin weighs 13 g and has a diameter of 30 mm. The 5,000 dinar coin weighs 17 g and has a diameter of 34 mm. The coins come in a coin box with the Certificate of Authenticity from the National Bank of Yugoslavia.
