The Zaire 1,000 Zaire Specimen banknote is part of the 1985 issues. It is green in color and measures 160 x 80 mm. The obverse side shows a leopard, Mobutu Sese Seko in uniform with a cap, and the coat of arms of Zaire. The reverse side features bank initials and the Palais du Peuple (Palace of the People) building and fountain in Kinshasa. This banknote uses a solid security thread printed REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE and contains a watermark with a Mobutu Sese Seko. design. This particular Zaire 1,000 Zaire banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
