Zaire 1 Million Nouveaux Zaires Banknote, 1996, P-79, UNC

The Zaire 1 Million Nouveaux Zaires banknote is part of the 1996 issues. It is light violet in color and measures 160 x 74 mm. The obverse side shows the bank initials and diamonds as registration devices, Mobutu Sese Seko in uniform with a cap, and the coat of arms. The reverse side features a map, a mine, a diamond, and bank initials. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE and contains a watermark with a Mobutu Sese Seko design.
