The Zaire 10 Zaires Banknote was issued by the Bank of Zaire in 1972. This blue banknote features the coat of arms of Zaire and a leopard on its obverse. It also portrays Mobutu Sese Seko in uniform. The reverse of the note depicts the bank initials and a shield with a hand holding a torch. The note contains a solid security thread with printed REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE. It also has a watermark that reveals Mobutu Sese Seko and 10 ZAIRES. The note is 180 x 90 mm in a size and is signed by Jules Fontaine Sambwa Pida Nbagui. This specimen banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
