The Zaire 10 Zaires Banknote was issued by the Bank of Zaire in 1979. Featured on the obverse of this green banknote is the coat of arms of Zaire, a leopard, and Mobutu Sese Seko wearing a uniform. The reverse of the note depicts the bank initials and a shield with a hand holding a torch. The note contains a solid security thread with printed REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE, It also has a watermark that reveals Mobutu Sese Seko and 10 ZAIRES. It is 180 x 90 mm in a size and is signed by Jules Croy Emony Mondanga. This specimen banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
