The Zaire 5,000 Zaire Specimen banknote is part of the Bank of Zaires 1988 issues. Featured on its obverse are the national emblem and former president Mobutu Sese Seko wearing a uniform with a cap. It is also overprinted with a diagonal red SPECIMEN. The reverse of the note depicts a smokestack, pyramids, elephant tusks, and bank initials. Additionally, it has a red diagonal SPECIMEN overprint. The green banknote is 152 x 72 mm in size. It is equipped with a solid security thread with printed BANQUE DU ZAIRE and a watermark that reflects Mobuto Sese Seko. This TAP authenticated specimen banknote is in uncirculated condition.
