The Zaire 5 Zaires banknote is part of the 1974-1977 issues. It is green in color and measures 172 x 85 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms, Mobutu Sese Seko in civilian clothes, and a leopard. The reverse side features bank initials, a carving of a seated woman, and the Inga I hydroelectric dam on the Congo River. This banknote uses a solid security thread printed REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE and contains a watermark with a Mobutu Sese Seko and 5 ZAEs design. It is graded 64 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
