The Zaire 50 Zaires banknote is part of the 1980 issues. It is red in color and measures 190 x 95 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms, Mobutu Sese Seko in civilian clothes with toque, and a leopard. The reverse side features bank initials and the coat of arms. This banknote uses a solid security thread printed REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE and contains a watermark with a Mobutu Sese Seko and 50 ZAEs design. It is graded 58 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
