Reviews:

This note is a specimen of a 50 Zaire banknote from 1982. The 50 Zaire note is dated 24 November 1982 and signed by Bank of Zaire Governor Jules Fontain Sambwa Pida N’Bagui. It is a red note that measures 145 mm long and 69 mm wide. Its obverse side shows a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, a leaping leopard, and the portrait of President Mobutu Sese Seko in civilian clothing. Its reverse side shows the Bank of Zaire logo, five men fishing on a platform, a fish, and a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint. Security features include an all-zero serial number, a solid security thread printed REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE, and a watermark of Mobutu Sese Seko. The note is a choice uncirculated note that has some evidence of handling but no folds in the design. Thus, it is graded 64 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
