Zaire 500,000 Nouveaux Zaires Banknote, 1996, P-78, PMG 68

The Zaire 500,000 Nouveaux Zaires banknote is part of the 1996 issues. It is light green in color and measures 160 x 74 mm. The obverse side shows the bank initials and fish as registration devices, Mobutu Sese Seko in uniform with a cap, and the coat of arms. The reverse side features a map, four people in a canoe with produce, fish, and bank initials. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE and contains a watermark with a Mobutu Sese Seko design. It is graded 68 by the Paper Money Guarantee (PMG).
