This uncirculated 500,000 Nouveaux Zaire banknote is dated 1996 and signed by Banque du Zaire Governor L. O. Djamboleka. It has a light green color scheme and measures 160 mm long and 74 mm wide. Its obverse side shows Mobutu Sese Seko in his military uniform and the Zaire coat of arms. Its reverse side shows the map of Zaire and a boat with four fishermen. Security features of the note include a fish and bank initials registration device, a windowed security thread with demetalized REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE, and a watermark of Mobutu Sese Seko.
