The Zaire 500 Nouveaux Zaires Banknote was issued by the Bank of Zaire in 1994. The banknote is predominantly dark olive green and measures 160 x 80 mm. The banknote features Mobutu Sese Seko wearing a uniform with cap. It also shows the coat of arms of Zaire. The back depicts the Bank Du Zaire buildings with plaza and the bank initials. The note contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized REPUBLIQUE DU ZAIRE. It also bears a watermark that reveals Mobutu Sese Seko. The banknote is signed by Godefroid Ndiang Kabul. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
